You Are Still…
You are still the man I met,
years ago, when young…
inviting smile, mischievous eyes,
and shoulders baring all.
You are still the caring man,
through all I’ve put you through…
of tantrums, doldrums, spending sprees,
and many health issues.
You are still the spirited man,
aging in fine grace;
holding hands and sharing hearts
as time allows us living space.
You are still the man I love…
the man who shares my life;
the man who now…and always will…
be my Valentine.
