ReadViewThink – January 16, 2020
Rain is falling in my neck of the woods, cleansing the earth in Nature’s way. Overcast sky makes for somber view through the window. The day is made more somber with the knowledge of a family member being in ICU as she waits for an upcoming heart surgery. Although a first cousin, she’s always been like a little sister to me. Life’s circumstances don’t allow us to see each other often enough, but our kinship, to me, is spiritually divine (kindred spirits), and our family love for each other can never be diminished. Recently, she celebrated the arrival of her first grandchild. I pray all goes well with the surgery and she’s home soon to cuddle the baby and be surrounded by caring family and friends. If you pray, please pray for her, too. Thank you.
