Started container gardening Saturday by transplanting two plants each of spinach, green cabbage, and red cabbage. Also, six broccoli plants. Once my husband found out broccoli takes two years to bloom, he didn’t want them in his small garden. LOL! He wants immediate results the first year. So freaking funny. Hahaha!
Sometime this week, going to plant a few red, white, and yellow onions, and golden and red potatoes in containers. I could have planted more over weekend, except for back pain. But a little done here, and a little done there, and won’t be too long I’ll have my back and front porch gardens thriving with a variety of flower and vegetable plants. Harvest results could be slim, since hubby roofed over back porch late last year. But even if no edibles grow, there should be plenty of greenery, which is much better than seeing only dog food and water bowls, and old wooden porch planks. Of course, dogs aren’t going to appreciate less space for lazing on the porches. Hahahah!
